Sacramento, CA - Several hundred public utility commissioners from around the country and suppliers they work with packed into the National Assn. of Regulatory and Utilities conference this month. Nearly nine out of 10 people interview agreed that utility companies need to do much more to educate consumers about smart grid technology and empower customers.

Harold D. Williams, Public Service Commissioner, Maryland, where they have turn down the idea so far, can not wait to see smart grid technology in his home state.

And the East Coast seems to have more of a challenge than the West Coast,
where California has taken the leader on implementing smart Grid technology.

says there are lots of challenges and opportunities with smart grid technology.

Bush Administration, Mark McKinnon said, “Julian Castro has a very good chance of becoming the first Hispanic president of the United States,” in a recent quote in a New York Times article.

“We are proud to help open this Business Technology Training Center, a first of its kind for services to chamber members,” Castro said.
